The Huronia Pregnancy Resource Centre (HPRC) is here to provide you with the emotional and practical support needed when faced with an unplanned pregnancy.  Our staff  and volunteers are committed to serving the women and men of our community, providing compassionate care during a difficult time.

We seek to be a safe and confidential place where individuals and families can find information, support and hope in a loving, affirming atmosphere.

We are a faith-based non-profit; volunteer agency; registered Canadian charity; and affiliated with the Pregnancy Care Canada.

You will meet with a trained client advocate who is deeply committed to meeting the needs of anyone impacted by an unplanned pregnancy, including friends and family.  There can be very difficult issues surrounding an unplanned pregnancy: you don’t feel ready to be a parent; not sure who you can talk  to or what to say; questions about the physical changes you are experiencing.  Our desire is to help you explore all the options so that you can make a well informed decision.

Confidentiality is of utmost importance; therefore, all information is kept strictly confidential, except where required by law to report, in cases such as suspected abuse, or to act to prevent harm to self or others.

We are not a medical facility. Although the pregnancy tests used are very accurate, the results of your test need to be confirmed by a physician. In addition, we do not perform abortions or give referrals for abortion services.

We serve our local community, including: Midland, Penetanguishene, Tay Township, Tiny Township, Elmvale, Oro-Medonte and all the areas in between.
